Board-Certified - Mohs Micrographic & Facial Cosmetic Surgeon

As the son of a watchmaker, Dr. Abe Minka grew up appreciating the precision handwork required to solve the most complex mechanical dilemmas. Without exposure to Mohs surgery in medical school, Dr. Minka initially began his surgical training to become an orthopedic hand surgeon. One fateful visit to his wife’s Mohs surgery rotation during residency introduced him to the glory of removing cancer, confirming the pathology under microscope, and reconstructing a large defect with grace and skill. Fast forward a separate residency in dermatology and a couple fellowships to boot, he is one of very few triple-board certified physicians in the country, and regularly attends master-level meetings to ensure his patients receive the absolute highest quality care. He could not be more honored that the communities of North Texas and South Oklahoma have entrusted him and his wife with their care, and looks forward to serve them and their families for decades to come.

Dr. Abe Minka is a proud husband to an accomplished dermatologist, and father to 2 kids who make every day absolutely hilarious. He enjoys golf, fishing, football, and competition pistol shooting.
